UAE Golden Visa property rule eased: off-plan and mortgaged now qualify

The property route to the UAE Golden Visa has been simplified. The requirement to pay 50% or at least AED 1,000,000 upfront has been removed.

Both off-plan and mortgaged properties now qualify, provided the property's value — as recorded by the Dubai Land Department — reaches AED 2,000,000. You can also combine up to three properties to reach the threshold.
